(Spring 2006) The ward choir needed something peppy after doing David Naylor's "Kolob" arrangement and a DeFord piece...and I can write peppy! The choir director gave me free reign in the hymnbook, as long as it was a "rejoicing" number, and "Let Zion" was my gift to her. She really likes it, and our choir will perform it in the next couple of months. The second verse can be a cappella for a nice MoTab feel, and watch that surprising F in the final verse, sopranos!
