Lyrics:
1. To thee my son the call I extend
This quest from God thy King
Come serve me son serve everyone
To me the one thou must bring
For I protect the ninety and nine
Even though my thought's on the stray
So take no thought before me son
Of that which thou art to say
2. Let confidence wax strong all of thy days
And fear no evil shun sin
With truth restored mine errand thou art
Now go and bring Israel in
With priesthood power sent two by two
I'm on thy left and thy right
All things thou canst do in my name
If thou serve whole heart and might
3. My heavenly table's set before thee
By my still waters you'll go
The hollow of my hand hold thee tight
With trust in me thou wilt grow
Into the man I know you are
The man this wicked world needs
Find each one son that they may hear
Now elder bring them to me

Story:
"The Call" (winter 2007)
And now for something completely different! :) I've never written anything quite like "The Call" before, it's a rousing missionary clarion coming from the Lord. It sounds wonderful sung by my good friend TJ Dick on the upcoming album "Believe," with words and music by Joe Olivas and Aaron Waite. I wish more people liked this one, it always gets my heart a-pumping.
