Amber is that righteous kind of person that is filled with excitement rather than dread over the subject of the Second Coming. In truth, for those prepared it will be a glorious day. She's always wanted me to pen a hymn about this. I wrote the lyrics quite quickly after many failed attempts, and found a wonderful melody in a Methodist hymnal. I changed the harmonies to fit my liking, and really enjoy the final product. An interesting side note is that the tune name of the melody (written over a century ago) is "Restoration." Fitting! :)
