JANUARY 2015: AARONWAITE.COM'S 10th ANNIVERSARY!
AaronWaite.com is still the cheapest place anywhere to buy high quality Latter-Day Saint/Christian hymn arrangement sheet music...with unlimited copying!
Why so cheap? Because offering my praises to God, Christ and His atonement, and the restoration of the Gospel in this way is, in my opinion, an expression of consecration. I prefer to keep the music about the music! Also, as a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP), I eliminate the "middle man" and offer my copyrighted material directly to the public for non-commercial use.
I'm a 30-something closet composer/arranger working in the welfare department of the Church in Salt Lake City. Originally from southern Utah, I served my mission in France then earned a two-year degree in music from Dixie State College and a bachelor's degree from Southern Utah University. If there's a music calling in the Church, I've held it! I'm currently ward organist...and resident composer/arranger! After over a decade of actively composing, I effectually retired in 2012 to pursue other interests, including raising six kids. :)

My arrangements are generally void of tempo and/or dynamic markings on purpose, because I believe that such elements should be left to the performer for interpretation. I "feel" pieces in this manner all the time, and expect no less with my pieces!
Feel free to email me any time! I absolutely love hearing from people visiting my site and using my music in any way. I particularly enjoy YouTube videos and notations of how you've altered my ideas to fit your needs.
"All I know about music is that not many people really hear it. And even then, on the rare occasions when something opens within, and the music enters, what we mainly hear...are personal, private, vanishing evocations. But the man who creates the music is hearing something else, is dealing with the roar rising from the void and imposing order on it as it hits the air. What is evoked in him, then, is of another order, more terrible because it has no words, and triumphant, too, for that same reason. And his triumph, when he triumphs, is ours." --from Sonny's Blues by James Baldwin

"I just bought some sheet music from your site, arrangements of "Praise to the Man" and "Army of Helaman" for my son in the MTC. He wants to practice something to play in church before they leave for Japan. A friend of mine, who plays the piano, searched the Internet and found your site, looking for these two songs, so that's how I found you."--LDS Author Rachel Ann Nunes
"I think I have purchased just about everything you have written. I am a HUGE fan of your music. Keep writing!"--Paige, CA
"My teenagers love your music, it gets played in sacrament meeting a lot. My piano students love learning it."--Diane, UT

Congratulations on your church music win! Your arrangement of 'Praise to the Man' is beautiful. I hope you're enjoying it all...it can be so time-consuming, but the rewards are wonderful. Keep up the good work!"--Sally DeFord
"I just wanted to say that [your] arrangement of 'If You Could Hie to Kolob' helped me decide to get baptised and I had it played at my baptism. It brings tears to my eyes everytime it is so amazing. Thank you!"--Carly
"I was looking through your site when I came across 'Through Your Hands'. I am very involved in music and love to sing and play the piano, but contradictly, my parents are deaf and I can't share the one thing I love the most with them. Then I came across this song and it hit me hard. I love it. I cannot express exactly how true those words mean to me and how true they are according to my parents. Thanks a million!"--Brenda
"I was asked to play a musical number in church and I chose to play your simple yet beautiful rendition of 'If You Could Hie to Kolob'. I received more compliments on this musical selection than on any other piece I've ever played. I looked all over searching for a piano arrangement of 'If You Could Hie to Kolob'. I scoured Deseret Book, and even Mormonmusic.com and didn't come up with anything. Finally, my sister Rebecca suggested I try googling 'LDS sheet music If you Could Hie to Kolob' and voila there it was! I wish I'd have done that first and saved myself at least 2 hours of time."--beehiveacademy.com
